Quality hand bound wedding albums, profesional prints, and specialists photo mounting
There is no point creating fabulous wedding photographs if you don't present them beautifully. I offer a range of options that can ensure your images are displayed with the care and attention that your special memories deserve. Whether you choose to have a selection printed ready for framing or a hand bound printed book showing a full account of your day, I only use skilled British companies that I have a good relationship with and I know will provide an excellent quality product.

Bound Books

As the modern more sophisticated equivalent of the traditional photograph album, a bound book will present your images in a stylish layout providing you with a long lasting and elegant record of your wedding day.

There are a great many different options for you to choose; landscape or square formats in different sizes, soft back or hardback covers, buckram fabric covers, fully printed covers, fly sheets, slipcases, protective boxes all in a range of colours and finishes. You also have the option of foil or blind embossing text onto the book cover or slipcase, which is a popular option for wedding albums. Whichever book style you pick a standard book will have 21 leaves, which will contain roughly 90 images. After consulting with the bride and groom on the selection of images that they particularly want to include, the layout of all books is classically designed by me. Once the design is finished I will send a digital proof for you to look at to make sure you are happy for the printing to go ahead.

I work closely with a craft binders who specialise in creating luxurious bespoke hardback books. All the printing and binding is done in house by skilled professionals using a range of traditional binding techniques including hand drilling and hand sewing. Hand binding ensures that your book will have a longevity that cheaper glued spines cannot compare with, so you can be confident your book will become a treasured family heirloom for years to come. I have some examples of the bound books so please ask me if you would like to take a look. Please look at the prices page for the most popular book choices, but remember if there is something you have in mind that you would particularly like or you would like to discuss the other options available please contact me.

All photographic prints that I produce are made by a professional printing studio using high quality digital printers to produce professional quality archival prints. My own digital system is colour calibrated regularly to ensure that the colour portrayal of the final print is as I intend. You have an option of print finishes; matt, which gives a natural subtle colour or a gloss, which gives a more punchy rich feel to the image. You can also have the print with a small white border surround or border-less.

Prints can be made in a range of sizes from the standard family album 6" x 4" size right up to poster print size. Please look at the prices of my most popular print choices, if you would like a quote for larger print sizes please contact me.

Other Options

In addition to the above, I also offer specialist mounting such as professional art mounting onto Dibond that gives a modern frame-less floating effect to your print. Dibond is a backing board of lightweight aluminium and PVC composite, once mounted your image is then protected with an acrylic seal in a choice of matt, satin or gloss which is scuff resistant and reduces UV damage.

I can also arrange to have personalised cards printed with an image or images of your choice. These are printed on heavyweight satin-coated card and come complete with a set of quality white envelopes, perfect for those thank you notes!

I am keen to produce your prints in the way you would like so if there is any particular ideas you have that are not detailed here, I would be more than happy to discuss it with you. If you would love to have prints and a book made, but worry that the extravagance of your day has taken its toll on your finances, don't despair! I will always keep copies of your images on my own backed up computer system for at least 5 years, possibly even longer, so should you want to wait a bit before making any decisions, then I will be here ready when you are. If you would prefer to arrange the printing for yourself, or you would like to keep the best quality images in a digital format for years to come, I do offer the option of purchasing the High Resolution disk. If you are considering arranging to have prints made or a book produced yourself, please first read my article 'Making the most of your Wedding Photographs', which will point out some potential pitfalls you can look out for.
